Osmium Squares are flat structures of crystalline osmium that are cut in the shape of a square. The edge lengths of the squares vary from one to nine mm.
In the case of a Q2-Square, the edge length is generally 2 mm. However, squares with a 2.99 mm edge length are labeled with the customs designation Q2.
Squares are specially well suited to be manufactured into jewelry. Osmium-Squares serve particularly well as beautifiers for rings or colliers that were previously only fitted with a diamond. The unique reflective properties of crystalline osmium surfaces make even small objects become real head-turners in sunlight.
Jewlers can easily set the small squares and create arrangements on eccentric jewelry pieces with them. Beyond that, readily cut squares are already finalized for use and needn’t be further processed.
