The offer regarding boxes is characterized by a so-called oversupply.
Due to the high transaction amounts, the boxes are delivered with a greater quantity of goods than originally paid for by the purchaser. The level of oversupply varies depending on the price of the selected box. As a general rule, the contents of each box are carefully selected by the Institute’s staff in such a way that, whenever possible, only one sparkle pattern is used within a box, with the pieces differing only minimally from one another. The denomination of each box is adjusted to the chosen investment amount. For all items that are free of cutting surcharges, the delivered goods can subsequently be exchanged into different denominations if desired.
The Disk-Invest Boxes contain round bars. The round bar is a disc with a diameter of 18 to 55 mm, which is the next step above the rectangular bars. It has the advantage over the standard medium edged Osmium bars that the maximum number of individual shapes can be cut from it when it is processed. In the circular shape, the ratio between edge and surface is geometrically most favourable in order to produce as little offcut as possible. Offcut refers to areas that cannot be used when Osmium is cut and objects are positioned on the round bar. The box contains the maximum number of round bars for the advertised value, as well as medium edged bars, diamonds and stars until the total is reached. This box is interesting mainly because round bars are included, as the round bar is not subject to surcharges for processing or cutting. To adjust the quantity of goods to the price, a little more Osmium is delivered free of charge in addition to the oversupply. Those who wish to receive round bars or Disk-Invest-Boxes and already have medium edged Osmium bars can also exchange those bars for round bars free of charge as part of the round bar purchase.
backBoxes have a fixed price. The price of osmium, however, changes daily. For this reason, the amount of osmium equivalent to the price of the box is calculated and delivered on the day of dispatch.
