With the monthly recurring purchase (MWK), you can acquire physical osmium flexibly and without a fixed term. You can choose between HighTechReady Osmium (HTR) from EUR 120 per month and crystalline osmium from EUR 400 per month.
HTR Osmium is held in secure collective custody and can remain there permanently. Optionally, it can be exchanged for crystalline osmium once per year or upon termination of the MWK – subject to stock availability – at a ratio of 2:1.
Crystalline osmium, on the other hand, is allocated to you directly in the form of specific certified pieces and can be delivered to you.

For crystalline osmium, the selected amount represents the maximum amount; due to the available physical piece sizes, the actual monthly purchase amount may be up to 10% lower. The higher minimum amount provides the necessary flexibility for suitable piece allocation.

HTR Osmium is held in secure collective custody for safety and quality reasons and is not delivered to private customers. Crystalline osmium, on the other hand, is allocated to you in specific physical pieces, individually certified, and can be shipped directly to you.
Crystalline osmium is certified on a piece-by-piece basis. Each individual piece receives its own Osmium Identification Code (OIC), under which, among other information, the high-resolution surface scan and the individual piece data are stored in the Osmium World Database.
With the direct MWK for crystalline osmium, specific, individually certified pieces are allocated and shipped to you from the outset. As proof of ownership, you receive the corresponding OCC (Owner Change Code).
With the HTR MWK, on the other hand, you acquire physical osmium held in secure collective custody. If you later choose the optional exchange into crystalline osmium, the specific crystalline pieces are allocated and individually certified as part of this exchange.

Payment is made exclusively by SEPA direct debit. You can choose between three monthly debit dates:
5th, 15th or 25th of each month.
The respective purchase amount is automatically debited from your registered bank account on the selected date.
Payments by credit card, PayPal or other payment methods are not available for the MWK. As payment is processed via SEPA direct debit, the MWK is currently only available to customers within the EU or with a SEPA-enabled bank account.

If you would like to receive crystalline osmium physically, you can exchange your HTR Osmium once per year or upon termination of the MWK – subject to sufficient stock availability – for crystalline osmium at a ratio of 2:1 and then have the crystalline osmium delivered to you.
However, the exchange is entirely optional. HTR Osmium can also be held permanently in collective custody.
Each crystalline osmium piece has an individual weight and therefore an individual value. For this reason, the monthly amount you select cannot always be matched exactly with the physical pieces available.
Your selected amount therefore represents your maximum amount. The total value of the pieces actually allocated to you may be up to 10% lower.
Example: If you set a monthly amount of EUR 400, pieces with a total value between EUR 360 and EUR 400 will be allocated to you. You only pay the actual value of the pieces allocated and never more than your selected maximum amount.

Yes. Within the MWK, HTR Osmium can be exchanged for crystalline osmium once per year or upon termination of the MWK – subject to stock availability – at a 2:1 weight ratio. This means that for two grams of HTR Osmium, you receive one gram of crystalline osmium. In terms of value, the exchange takes place at a 1:1 ratio.
In general, the Osmium Institute also offers the possibility of converting crystalline osmium into HTR Osmium. The specific process depends on the respective pieces and the conditions applicable at the time of the exchange.
If you would like to receive physical crystalline osmium from the outset, you can alternatively choose the crystalline MWK directly from EUR 400 per month.
