Standard shapes are produced in larger quantities and are among the most commonly used shapes, primarily intended for manufacturers. They feature small surfaces, clear geometries, and are cut with minimal offcut. Jewelers and goldsmiths use them to replace gemstones such as diamonds or sapphires, as their sparkle remains visible to the naked eye even from a distance in sunlight. However, due to certification costs allocated to small pieces, they are less suitable as pure tangible investment products compared to bars and disks.
